The Georgian Bay School for the Arts (GBArts) says it faces unfair competition from a taxpayer-funded arts camp run by the Tom Thomson Art Gallery.

In his letter to the editor, Alan McIntosh questions why a city-run institution that previously participated in GBArts summer camps now offers a lower-cost program. He says that this competes with their long-established summer camp, and that the City has hired a grant specialist to compete for the same funding as local non-profits.
