Carter George made an astonishing 50 saves, with 52 shots on goal, as the Owen Sound Attack took on the Kitchener Rangers on Saturday night. George received the first star of the game! We won 3-2 in a shootout, tying us for 7th place and holding a position in the playoffs… for now. Submitted by Britt Dawson.

• Owen Sound City Council has a special meeting this morning at 9 a.m. to discuss “one matter regarding labour relations and employee negotiations respecting collective bargaining.”

• The City’s Corporate Services Committee meets on Thursday, March 6, at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. On the agenda: committee orientation and 2025 workplans, an update on tenders and contracts between $50,000 and $249,000 awarded in H2 2024, a communication strategy for the 2025 Asset Management Plan, and more.
