Local Students & Agricultural Society Team Up to Celebrate Grey County's Rich Farming Heritage
The Owen Sound Agricultural Society and students from St. Mary's High School partnered to bring the walls of the 4H barn to life with a mural that pays homage to Grey County's deep agricultural roots.

The walls of the 4H barn at the Owen Sound Agricultural Society are now a vibrant testament to Grey County's deep agricultural roots, thanks to a fantastic collaboration between students from St. Mary's High School and the Owen Sound Agricultural Society.
As part of an exciting initiative, talented students from St. Mary's paired with the Agricultural Society to create a stunning mural inside the barn.
The artwork beautifully depicts various facets of Grey County's farming history, from livestock and crops to local landscapes and community events.
This impressive mural was completed just in time to be unveiled and enjoyed by attendees of the recent Spring Barn Dance and Corn Hole tournament, adding a wonderful splash of colour and local pride to the festivities.
It's a true community effort that not only beautifies a local landmark but also educates and inspires about the enduring legacy of agriculture in our region.
Congratulations to all the students involved, and a big thank you to the Owen Sound Agricultural Society for making this wonderful project possible!
