SUBMITTED
Join local writer and poet Susan McElroy as she discusses her book “Finally: A collection of poems and short stories” in front of the library fireplace.
Susan McElroy lives in Grey County, Ontario, Canada. She and her husband, Bill, made the move to this part of the country in 2019. They both were looking to get back to the rural roots of their childhood. Surrounded by trees, and just steps from Georgian Bay, the area is secluded and quiet, the landscape stunning.
This is the setting in which Susan now writes. It’s something she’s been doing for about as long as she’s been reading and that’s quite a while. Over the years she made her living by writing for others. Now she writes for herself.
Books will be available for purchase.
The Library’s Fireside Chat program highlights authors in our community. They take place in the Carnegie level of the library from January to May on Tuesdays, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Thursdays, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
