Grey Bruce Pride is proud to announce the 7th Annual Pride Parade and this year’s Queer Futures Block Party—a full day of celebration, solidarity, and queer joy!
Our Parade starts at 2:00 PM. The parade route is the same as last year and will run along 2nd Avenue East in Owen Sound, beginning at 10th Street, ending at our Owen Sound Farmer’s Market. From there, we welcome the community to join us for our block party running until 11:00 PM at our exciting new location: 9th Street East between 2nd Ave & 3rd Ave E.
As ever, we are deeply honoured that Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer community members lead our parade—just as they lead our community—with their knowledge, wisdom, and strength.
This year, we’re thrilled to collaborate with two amazing queer-positive local businesses — Parkwood & Rumpus Room — to co-host the biggest, boldest, and most inclusive Pride gathering yet.
What’s happening:
Vendor Fair: Be sure to check out our 20+ Vendors and Infobooths along with our Food Truck. We also have licensed patios
Mainstage Magic: DJs, live band - Boiler Beach, cabaret performances from Troyboy Entertainment, poetry, and an EDM headliner to close out the night - Moonbean Music.
Quiet Pride options: For those seeking a gentler celebration, enjoy a cozy queer coffee hour at Ginger Press Bookshop from 1-2 to connect with community, then head to watch the parade together, join our silent disco, or connect at our queer kinship mixer.
Family-friendly fun: Our Kid Zone will be open all day with activities and surprises for little ones and their grown-ups.
Community care: In recognition of Indigenous Peoples Day, we are honoured to hold intentional space where Indigenous community members can gather, connect, and feel seen, in particular our Two Spirit and Indigiqueer Community.
We gratefully acknowledge the generous support of head sponsor Bruce Power, whose contributions help make this event possible and accessible for all.
