We kick things off today with a follow-up in our BG Wealth Group series, as many of you had questions about what happens to the properties now. We’ve learned that three of them were seized and ordered into receivership in November:

Joel Pennington is a mediator and negotiation coach who helps organizations and individuals foster collaborative relationships and negotiate equitably. He’s lived, travelled, or worked in over 70 countries and now calls Owen Sound home.
Joel is also a member of the City of Owen Sound's Corporate Services Committee and one of the organizers of Solidarity Sundays, a weekly intergenerational social at the Harmony Centre (and it’s a good bit of fun, if I do say so myself).

Regular meetings of Owen Sound City Council resume on Monday, January 13, at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
The City of Owen Sound Corporate Services Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 16th, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. has been cancelled.
