We’re bringing on new columnists in 2025, and I’m excited to introduce the first to you today.
Trevor Schwandt is the Chef at CMHA’s Fresh Roots Café, a mental health and wellness-focused social enterprise in downtown Owen Sound. We’re looking forward to Trevor’s columns on cooking with all things local, and how to make good use of what’s in season.
His first contribution is a comfort food that can be customized with whatever fresh or preserved local toppings you have at hand. Enjoy!
