Owen Sound City Council met on January 13, opening with a tribute from Mayor Ian Boddy honouring former mayor Stew Taylor.
Key decisions included approving agreements for snowmobile trail access and fire protection funding, as well as directing staff to draft a parkland conveyance by-law and a contribution agreement for upgrades to Kelso Beach Park.
Council also formalized a boundary road agreement with Georgian Bluffs and addressed snow removal concerns and living wage research.
