Highway 6 Closed After Fiery Collision North of Wiarton
Highway 6 is closed north of Wiarton after a water truck caught fire in a collision near Mar Sideroad. OPP are on scene, injuries unknown, traffic detoured via Bruce Road 9.

As of 12:25 p.m., Highway 6 is closed in both directions north of Wiarton following a serious collision late Thursday morning.
According to the Grey-Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers responded to a call at approximately 11:31 a.m. regarding a crash on Highway 6 at Mar Sideroad in South Bruce Peninsula.
Initial reports indicated the incident involved a propane truck; however, police later confirmed that a water truck was involved and is fully engulfed in flames. At this time, injuries remain unknown.
The roadway is blocked, and motorists are being advised to avoid the area. Police have designated Bruce Road 9 as an alternate route.
Emergency crews remain on scene, and the OPP says updates will be provided as they become available.
