Heavy Police Presence Due to 'Ongoing Incident' in Howdenvale; OPP Ask Public to Avoid the Area
West Region OPP warn that officers are actively investigating an ongoing incident in Howdenvale, a small community on the Lake Huron shoreline in South Bruce Peninsula.
Regional OPP issued a notice at 7:30 p.m. this evening warning of a heavy police presence in Howdenvale in South Bruce Peninsula and asked members of the public to avoid the area.
The notice from West Region OPP stated, “Officers are actively investigating an ongoing incident.”
They added, “Please allow police to carry out their duties and follow instructions of any officers on scene.”
