OPP Seek Info on Grey Highlands Theft of Over $20,000 in Goods
Theft at property on Sideroad 16A occurred between September 2 and 14, 2024. Chainsaw, gazebo, and Zodiac among items taken.
The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) requests the public's assistance in solving a significant break-and-enter case in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
On September 14, 2024, at 11:32 a.m., officers responded to a call at a property on Sideroad 16A following reports of a break-in. According to the OPP, the break-in occurred between September 2 and September 14, 2024.
The unknown suspects made off with several valuable items, with the stolen property estimated to be worth over $20,000.
Among the items taken from the property were:
Baja Ski Boat with a 150-horsepower Mercury engine and trailer
Zodiac Inflatable Boat with a 4HP Suzuki outboard motor
5x10 Utility Trailer with a ramp
Champion Propane Generator
Campbell Hausfeld 30 GL Air Compressor
Mastercraft Air Compressor (red)
Toolboxes with plumbing and general tools, as well as a tool belt
Cypress Gardens Composite Water Skis
Karcher Gas Pressure Washer
A set of aluminum trailer ramps
Various Dewalt power tools, including an electric circular saw, grinder, and jigsaw
Stihl Chainsaws for both felling and arborist work
Poulan 2 Chainsaw
A handheld blower, trimmer, and backpack blower
A Simoniz Electric Pressure Washer
CLAM Pop-Up Shelter
Camping gear including a 3-man tent, multiple fishing rods, an antique rod and reel collection, a butane stove with canisters, and two Broadstone camp cots
Police are urging anyone with information related to the break-in to come forward. Those with details can contact the Grey Bruce OPP directly at 1-888-310-1122. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be provided through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or via a secure web tip at www.cstip.ca.
Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 if the information leads to an arrest or recovery of the stolen items.
