Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival: Call for Submissions
Young filmmakers in Grey and Bruce counties are invited to submit their short films by May 9 for a chance to be featured at the Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival.

Attention young filmmakers! The libraries of Bruce and Grey counties want your films for the Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival. The submission deadline is May 9, with a screening of the selected films at the Owen Sound Galaxy Cinemas in June.
Enter for a chance to have your film included in this year’s Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival screening, and to win cash prizes. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and announced after the screening.
Selected films will be screened at a festival event at the Galaxy Cinema in Owen Sound in June. Selected films from the Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival will air on Wightman TV Channel 6 in southern Bruce and Grey Counties and on Rogers TV Grey County Channel 53 in Owen Sound and the surrounding area.
All films submitted to the Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival will be considered for screening at the Meaford International Film Festival as the opening film ahead of the evening's feature.
Short animated or live action films of a maximum of 10 minutes in length from students in grades 7 through 12, living in Grey or Bruce County are eligible. Application forms can be found at all participating public libraries or downloaded from https://www.osngupl.ca/grey-bruce-youth-film-festival/. Deadline for submissions is Friday, May 9, 2025.
