Break and Enter in Dundalk: OPP Seek Witnesses
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a break and enter at a Dundalk residence and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
On November 20, 2024, at approximately 6:20 p.m., officers from the Grey Bruce OPP responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a home on Werry Avenue, between Seeley Avenue and Russell Street, in Southgate. Two individuals reportedly entered the residence while the homeowners were not present, stealing property valued at over $100,000, including Rolex watches, Cartier bracelets, liquor, and currency.
The suspects are described as two Black males. The first is approximately 6’6” tall with a slim build, and the second is around 5’10” with an average build. They were seen leaving the area in a grey or blue SUV with the licence plate CBME601, which has been reported as stolen and may have since been changed.
The OPP is asking area residents to review any video surveillance footage for evidence of the suspects or their vehicle.

Good Samaritan Report Leads to Impaired Driving Charge in South Bruce Peninsula
A tip from a Good Samaritan has led to impaired driving charges against a local individual following a traffic complaint.
On November 19, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., officers from the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver on Bruce Street in South Bruce Peninsula. Police quickly located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
As part of the investigation, the driver was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) and later charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs.
In accordance with provincial laws, the accused, 48-year-old Jason Fell of South Bruce Peninsula, has had his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on December 19, 2024.

46-Year-Old Owen Sound Resident Charged with Assault in Georgian Bluffs
A 46-year-old individual from Owen Sound is facing multiple charges following an intimate partner violence investigation conducted by the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
On November 16, 2024, officers responded to a residence in Georgian Bluffs to investigate a report of intimate partner violence. The investigation revealed that the suspect had allegedly committed several criminal acts against their partner.
The accused has been charged with the following:
Assault – spousal
Criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate
Make intimate image available without consent
The individual is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date. The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.

Street Crime Unit Makes Drug Arrest in Saugeen First Nation
Two individuals are facing multiple charges following a drug trafficking investigation by the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).
On November 14, 2024, members of the Grey Bruce CSCU identified a person of interest involved in drug trafficking traveling on Highway 21 in Saugeen First Nation toward Saugeen Shores. Officers located the individual, along with a passenger, who was also a person of interest.
During the search, officers seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, hydromorphone capsules, dilaudid pills, and morphine pills, along with drug paraphernalia. The estimated value of the seized substances is over $26,000.
Sheri Cameron, 46, and Lena George, 37, both of Saugeen First Nation, have been charged with several offences, including possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine and opioids), possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of a prohibited device or ammunition for a dangerous purpose (two counts).
The accused have been released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on December 11, 2024.
The Grey Bruce OPP continues to encourage the community to report suspected drug activity to help combat the distribution of illicit substances.

Two individuals have been charged with assault following an investigation into an incident of intimate partner violence in Southgate.
On November 18, 2024, officers from the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residence in Southgate to investigate a report of intimate partner violence. During the investigation, police determined that both involved parties had allegedly committed criminal acts against each other.
As a result, both individuals were charged with assault – spousal. They are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
The names of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victims.
