Grey Bruce OPP Recover Stolen Camper Trailer, Charge North Bruce Peninsula Man
OPP investigating a May 2025 theft found the stolen camper trailer on North Shore Road and charged a 49-year-old man with possession of stolen property.

Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 49-year-old Northern Bruce Peninsula man after recovering a stolen camper trailer worth $30,000.
Police received the report in May 2025 that a 2022 Cherokee Wolfpup 16-foot camper trailer had gone missing sometime between September and October 2024. The Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit led the investigation and tracked the trailer to a property on North Shore Road in Northern Bruce Peninsula.
On September 2, officers with the West Region Emergency Response Team, West Region Canine Unit, Grey Bruce CSCU, and Grey Bruce Major Crime Unit executed a search warrant at the property.
They arrested the accused without incident and recovered the trailer.
Daniel Hafenbrack, 49, of Northern Bruce Peninsula, faces one charge of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. Police released him from custody, and he is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on October 2, 2025.
