Grey Bruce OPP Ask Public’s Help Identifying Suspects After Credit Card Stolen & Used Fraudulently
OPP are investigating a theft from a vehicle and subsequent fraud in Georgian Bluffs and are seeking public assistance.
The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying two persons of interest following a theft from a vehicle and the fraudulent use of a stolen credit card in Georgian Bluffs.
Police say the incident occurred sometime overnight between April 4 and April 5, 2026, in the Pottawatomi Village neighbourhood on Atkins Street in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
According to OPP, two individuals entered an unlocked vehicle and removed personal items, including a credit card. The stolen card was later used to make unauthorized purchases.
Investigators have released descriptions of two persons of interest, bothCaucasian men. One was wearing a blue ball cap, face mask, black hoodie, blue jeans, and brown shoes
The other was wearing a Toronto Raptors ball cap, face mask, beige/green long-sleeve shirt with a black stripe down the sleeves, blue jeans, and black shoes.
The OPP is reminding residents to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, and avoid leaving financial cards or identification inside unattended vehicles.
