Sale of Glassworks Cooperative Land in Question as Emergency Meeting Called for Nov 1

Co-founders and former board members and others in opposition of October 17 resolution to sell the site appeal to members and public for more funding

Glassworks Cooperative will hold an emergency members meeting on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. as some members attempt to walk back a decision to sell their property between 23rd and 26th St. E, east of 9th Ave, in Owen Sound.

A handful of members are appealing to the public and membership for funding and to reverse the board of directors’ decision to sell the current site and pursue a build-ready alternative.
