The Ginger Press in Owen Sound hosts its annual Author Open House on Nov. 30, featuring 15 local writers, new books, and seasonal treats. Free and open to all.
Readers will have a chance to meet some of the region’s most accomplished authors later this month as The Ginger Press hosts its annual Author Open House on Sunday, November 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at its downtown location (848 2nd Avenue East).
The event brings together 15 local authors representing a wide range of genres, from poetry and children’s books to local history and philosophical reflections.
Visitors can chat with writers, browse new titles, and purchase personally autographed books, just in time for holiday gift-giving.

In addition to meeting authors and exploring new books, guests can enjoy seasonal treats and hot cider, all made in-house.
The event is free to attend, with no charge for admission or parking.
Since its founding in 1978, The Ginger Press has been a hub for the literary community in Owen Sound. The Author Open House continues its tradition of connecting writers with readers in a welcoming, community-focused space.
