On Monday, September 23, Marilyn Struthers and Liz Buckton will give a deputation at the Owen Sound City Council meeting.
Their presentation, “Affordable Housing—Search for Innovation in a Broken System,” highlights financial models that create more affordable housing for workers in healthcare, retail, tourism, and hospitality. These sectors are critical for the sustainability of our communities, but workers cannot afford the high costs of housing.
You can find a copy of their presentation deck here. Tune in on Monday to watch the full presentation to Council.
