Well, we tried.
I emailed council@owensound.ca Tuesday requesting their comments on and suggestions for improving public engagement at council meetings.
One replied.
Maybe we’re asking the wrong question here. Let’s try this:
If council won’t give the public the time of day in open session meetings…
And they don’t feel it necessary to answer media questions…
And they simply ignore entire research reports authored by qualified members of the public…
