Fri Jan 12: City Announces Public Budget Meeting; Airport Sold for Undisclosed Sum
Plus: Owen Sound Police Service awarded $900,000 in provincial grant funding for bail monitoring program over three years
The City of Owen Sound announced yesterday that it intends to hold a Public Meeting on January 29, 2024, and pass a by-law to adopt the 2024 Budget on February 26, 2024.
Members of the public can attend the Jan 29 meeting and make verbal or written comments either in support of or in opposition to the proposed budget, the public noticed reads.
All submissions will form part of the public record.
The City Clerk will also accept written comments until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, January 29, although only those received by Jan 24 will be included in the Council agenda before the meeting.
