Safe ‘N Sound hosts their Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser this weekend, on Saturday, February 28. Walkers can choose from 2 km or 5 km routes starting and finishing at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market, with check-in beginning at 4:00 p.m. Community members are invited to tour a model tiny home proposed as a “Better Than a Tent” part of the solution to the local homelessness crisis. That is available from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. by the Farmers’ Market. Safe ‘N Sound seeks donations of new and gently used winter boots and shoes, which can be dropped off outside the shelter.
