Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision Closes Grey Road 18 South of Owen Sound
A 35-year-old Wiarton woman has died following a two-vehicle crash on Grey Road 18 near Owen Sound. OPP continue to investigate.
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred Monday morning on Grey Road 18, just south of Owen Sound.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at approximately 8:30 a.m. on November 10. The crash involved a passenger vehicle and a pick-up truck on Grey Road 18 between Inglis Falls Road and Highway 6.
A 35-year-old woman from Wiarton was transported to hospital following the collision, where she was later pronounced deceased. Four other individuals were also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as a precaution.
The Grey Bruce OPP is leading the investigation, with support from the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team. As of Monday afternoon, Grey Road 18 remained closed in both directions between Inglis Falls Road and Highway 6 to allow for the ongoing investigation.
