Elmer Iseler Singers Bring 'Tapestry of Sound' to Owen Sound on October 4

The Elmer Iseler Singers will perform their program “Tapestry of Sound” in Owen Sound on Saturday, October 4, at 7:00 p.m.
The concert will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 865 2nd Ave W. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased with cash at the door or by e-transfer at choircamp.wordpress.com.
The October 4 program will include the songs Frobisher Bay, Paradise: A Song for Georgian Bay, We Rise Again, Precious Lord, and He Watching over Israel (from Elijah), as well as works by Eleanor Daley, J.S. Bach, Peter Togni, and others.
The JUNO-Award-winning Elmer Iseler Singers (EIS), conducted by artistic director Lydia Adams since 1998, is singing its 47th Concert Season in 2025/26.
This 20-voice professional choral ensemble, founded by the late Dr. Elmer Iseler in 1979, has thrilled audiences internationally and led the way in developing exciting new choral works and experiences, building a stellar reputation in Canada, the United States and abroad, performing a wide range of repertoire with a focus on Canadian composers.
EIS presents a concert series in Toronto each season, and the choir is featured as guest artists and collaborators with many professional colleagues, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Gryphon Trio, and Esprit Orchestra, among others.
The EIS tour regularly throughout Canada, engaging community singers and conductors of all ages through workshops and concert performances.
