Collingwood Driver Charged After Pedestrian Struck & Injured in Meaford
A 22-year-old driver has been charged with careless driving causing bodily harm after a pedestrian was struck in Meaford on Wednesday.
Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 22-year-old driver from Collingwood with careless driving causing bodily harm after a pedestrian with struck by a pickup truck in Meaford on Wednesday.
The collision happened at the intersection of Sykes Street North and Trowbridge Street at approximately 3:40 p.m.
Police say the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other information, including the age of the victim, was released.
The accused has not been identified and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Offences Court in Owen Sound on July 7, 2025.
