Car Seat Clinic in Markdale Feb 12: Grey Bruce OPP and Owen Sound Police Auxiliary
Parents and caregivers are invited to attend a car seat clinic at the Markdale OPP Detachment, and no pre-registration is required.

The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), in partnership with the Owen Sound Police Auxiliary Unit, is pleased to announce a Car Seat Clinic taking place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Markdale OPP Detachment (23 Greenview Lane, Markdale).
The clinic will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Parents and caregivers are invited to attend, and no pre-registration is required. Simply come into the detachment and let officers know you are there for a car seat installation.
Recently, Grey Bruce OPP and Owen Sound Auxiliary officers completed specialized car seat installation training through the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC).
With this certification, officers will be able to assist families in properly installing their child car seats, ensuring the highest level of safety for young passengers.
To make the process smoother, attendees are asked to bring the manuals for both their car seat and their motor vehicle.
