Campus Experience Week Offers Future Students a Glimpse Into Life at Georgian College
Explore Georgian College’s Owen Sound campus from April 11–17. Tour facilities, take a virtual residence tour, speak with staff, and apply for free with waived application fees.

Georgian College is opening its doors to prospective students and their families this month during Campus Experience Week, which is taking place in person from April 11 to 17 across all seven Georgian campuses, including the Owen Sound location.
Designed to give visitors an immersive introduction to college life, the event features campus tours, opportunities to meet with staff and recruiters, and the chance to apply to Georgian College at no cost. The college will cover the standard $150 Ontario College Application Service (OCAS) fee for all applicants who apply during the event.
“Campus Experience Week is a perfect opportunity to explore and experience Georgian at your own pace,” said Kristy Linklater, Associate Director of Marketing and Recruitment at Georgian College. She noted that attendees can explore classrooms and labs, view residence facilities, check out student services, and speak directly with Georgian staff about program options and the application process.
In Owen Sound, prospective students will have access to virtual residence tours and in-person activities throughout the week. At the Barrie Campus, drop-in tours of the residence will be offered. Other campus highlights include athletics facilities, libraries, and on-campus dining options.
Participants will also receive assistance with applications and have access to a recruitment team available to answer questions about academics, financial aid, student life, and more. Those who have already applied or been accepted can get guidance on their next steps in the admissions process.
To mark the occasion, Georgian is giving away gift bags featuring branded gear and accessories to participants. Registration is required, and attendees may bring up to two guests. Full event details and registration are available at GeorgianCollege.ca/campusexperienceweek.
For individuals unable to attend during Campus Experience Week, Georgian offers other ways to explore its campuses, including guided and virtual tours, one-on-one calls with recruitment specialists, and an email list with updates on future events and contests.
Georgian College offers over 130 programs and is recognized for its strong graduate employment outcomes, with a 90.3% employment rate—among the highest for Ontario colleges. The institution is also Canada’s first college to be designated a Changemaker College by Ashoka U for leadership in social innovation.
