Break-In Reported in Oliphant: John Deere Equipment Stolen From Garage
Grey Bruce OPP are investigating a break and enter on Grouse Drive in Oliphant after a John Deere ride-on lawnmower and bagger were stolen.
The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a break and enter in Oliphant after lawn equipment was stolen from a residential property on Grouse Drive.
Police say they were called to the home on the evening of September 23, 2025, following the reported theft of a green E170 John Deere ride-on lawnmower and a John Deere 54-inch tractor bagger.
The items were taken from a detached garage at the back of the property. They were last seen on the evening of September 22.
Anyone who noticed unusual activity in the area around the time of the theft is asked to contact Grey Bruce OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
Police are reminding residents to secure garages and sheds and to check that security cameras and lighting are in working order.
