The festival promises an afternoon of live music, hands-on art experiences, and family-friendly activities designed to showcase the creativity and talent that make Owen Sound’s arts community so vibrant.

Throughout the day, festival-goers can watch local artists at work during ongoing demonstrations of painting, pottery, fibre arts, and stained glass, while children and adults alike are invited to participate in interactive activities and create their own artwork.
A variety of hands-on events will keep the energy high, including a Clay Tower Competition at noon, a Blindfolded Pottery Competition at 1:30 p.m., and a button-making station open throughout the festival.
“Whether you’re an artist, a music lover, or simply looking for a fun way to spend a summer afternoon, the Art & Jazz Festival offers something for everyone,” says Roxy Theatre Manager Tiffany McMillin, one of the event sponsors. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the remarkable artistic talent in our community while bringing people together through creativity and music.”
