Antique and Classic Car Show Returns to Grey Roots on August 8
The Bluewater Railroaders bring train rides to Grey Roots' annual antique and classic car show in Moreston Heritage Village on Saturday, August 8.
Grey Roots Museum & Archives holds its annual Antique and Classic Car Show on Saturday, August 8, with pre-2000 vehicles on display through Moreston Heritage Village.
The show is included with regular museum admission, which also covers full access to the museum, the Wild Weather exhibit and Moreston Heritage Village.
Admission is $12.50 plus tax for adults 13 and older, $8.50 plus tax for youth 4 to 12, and $30 plus tax for a family of two adults and dependent children. Children under 4 and Grey Roots members enter free, and the museum offers complimentary admission to Indigenous visitors.
Members of reciprocal partner museums should note their free-admission benefit does not apply to this event and that they will need to pay regular admission. The museum and village are open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with cars in place until at least 3 p.m.
New this year, the Bluewater Railroaders will offer rides aboard the Bob McDowall Memorial Railway along with model railway demonstrations. The show runs with support from the Bluewater Region of the Antique and Classic Car Club of Canada and is presented with support from Owen Sound Gardens.
Food will be available on site from the vendor Who Gives a Flying Fork?, which accepts cash or e-transfer only. According to the event page, pets are not permitted at Grey Roots or in Moreston Heritage Village; registered service animals are welcome.

For vehicle owners:
Pre-registration is not required and there is no charge to display. Vehicle owners receive free vehicle entry plus two admissions, for the driver and one guest.
Pre-2000 vehicles only, for display in the heritage village.
Arrive before 10 a.m. for the best placement. Vehicles will not be admitted to the village after 11 a.m.
No early departures from the village. Drivers who want to leave before 3 p.m. are asked to park in the display area of the visitor parking lot.
Vehicle owners only — no vendors. Bring a pop-up canopy for shade if needed.
The rain date is Sunday, August 9; any change will be posted on the museum’s event page and its Facebook and Instagram accounts the morning of August 8.
