It is often repeated that the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market is the heart of this community. Our little market has been in operation since 1857, even before the establishment of Owen Sound. Our city has built up around this vibrant core of commerce.
But much more than just goods exchange, it is a place of purposeful meeting; of community spending time with friends both old and new. It is a place of sharing the beautiful things that we all create: food, crafts, works of art and music.
What better time to do that than on a wintry Sunday afternoon, at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market?
