100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce Donates $40,000 to Hepworth Youth Charity
A women's giving circle has donated $40,000 to TenThirtyFive Grey Bruce, which supplies clothing and personal care items to vulnerable youth.

100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce has donated $40,000 to TenThirtyFive Grey Bruce, a Hepworth-based charity that provides clothing and personal care items to vulnerable youth and women.
The group presented the donation after its May meeting, according to a news release from the organization. It did not name a specific presentation date.
TenThirtyFive Grey Bruce operates a voucher program through a thrift clothing boutique in Hepworth. The organization says participants are referred by community agencies and can shop free of charge up to four times a year, receiving up to $150 in donated clothing, shoes and accessories along with new undergarments, socks, toiletries and personal care items the charity buys directly.
The organization says 125 women and youth are currently enrolled in the program and that it works with more than 30 community partners across Grey and Bruce counties. The Current has not independently verified these figures.
According to the charity, public sales at the boutique help cover operating costs, but it relies on donations to sustain and expand the program. The organization says rising costs and growing demand have made it harder to consistently supply personal care items to everyone referred.
100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce is a collective giving circle whose members pool contributions for charitable donations four times a year. The group says it continues to accept new members.
